The 2009 10,000 mile challenge. First one to 10 wins.
The rules:
1) Honor System for mileage updates
2) All miles count (trainer miles too)
3) New handicap option: If your 2009 goal exceeds 10,000 miles you are allowed to handicap yourself.
Example - My name is Tim and I biked 12500 miles last year. So this year I will deduct 2500 miles.

791 for me for August. I thought I'd break 800 but I had a zero day on the 31st after the race due to sloth.
Did Tim do it already?
944 for August. The Finkelstein is an animal. My miles will probably drop from here with races almost every weekend until sometime in Nov.
1021 for me. Only one race on the calendar for the rest of the year. Then transition into cross.
1001 Miles for August. Was on-track for ~1200, but a bout with intestinal flu caught me in the last week.
Two more crits this weekend, then nothing until Iceman.

As of 7:38 yesterday I reached exactly 10,000 miles and 615 hours. I threw my hands up as I rolled it.
I guess this answers my question as to when it happened. Nice work Finkel!
