After 6 months of continuous racing, cracks are starting to show. Whiskey Dave's head is leaking, Brent's pelvis is cracked!, and Shawn's knee is forcing a mid season break. How is everyone else fairing?
The 2009 10,000 mile challenge. First one to 10 wins.
The rules: 1) Honor System for mileage updates 2) All miles count (trainer miles too) 3) New handicap option: If your 2009 goal exceeds 10,000 miles you are allowed to handicap yourself.
Example - My name is Tim and I biked 12500 miles last year. So this year I will deduct 2500 miles.

Down a bit this month because of the volume of races and peaking for those races:
June: 1160 miles
Two dirty centuries completed this month along with normal riding gave me a little edge... 1092 miles.
New bike=more miles in July
486.3 for June. I decided to stop riding for another week after the doc told me I had a fracture. I would have had a 400+ mile week!

I really wanted to end the month at 7500 to stay on pace for a 15,000mi year but fell just short.
July will be epic!
Thanks for the motivation!

Racing and Track miles are killing me...
I'm starting to train for collegiate track nats, so the miles might be a bit dry in July too....
