The problem with Colorado...
Is that it is just too much fun. I am trying to count snowboarding as cross training, but I really don't care at this point. Instead of the long 4 and 5 hour rides I used to do in the winter, it is now 4-5 hours snowboard sessions. It is just ridiculous fun.

Have you started?
I have not kicked off my year the way I hoped. A chest cold last weekend kept me down from accumulating big miles over the weekend. However, while it is only the 9th day of the new year, I have not driven my car to work. Cycling brings out the OCD for tracking things in you. Not only am I now tracking miles, hours, temperature for the SWRS, but days not driven to work.
Colorado also provides great cross training in the winter. Heading out the door to ride to work in the dark and cold is really hard, but it is great to take the weekend to go showboarding, or snowshoeing with the wife.

In the beginning...
The someone said, "Let's go further", and someone else responded "O.K". They rode further, and it was good.
Then many years, and miles later someone said, "I can totally ride 10,000 Miles before you can", and someone else responded "Your on". It was an epiphany.
